Homemade Fabric Softener

To make my fabric softener I mixed about 4-5 cups of white vinegar and almost a half of a bottle of hair conditioner, any scent (I used VO5, I got for free with coupons) and 2-3 cups of hot water, all in a bowl.

Then I used an old oxy clean container, rinsed it out, got some old towels and cut them into dryer sheet sized squares then placed them in the container. I poured the mixture till it covered the rags.

There was alot left over so I just poured that in a large mason jar and the hot water sealed it for refills. All you do is grab one or two rags and throw in the dryer with your clothes.

If you prefer dry sheets you can soak them and let them sit out to dry before you use them. If you would rather pour the liquid directly into the washer, I would use an old softener bottle and just use a cap full.Image

Handmade Finger Print Christmas Ornament

I love this idea! When my kids were babies I did this with their hands, now that they are teenagers its a great reminder of how little they once were. This would make the perfect Christmas gift for grandparents too.

Homemade Rice Milk

In today’s world so many people are allergic or sensitive to regular cows milk. This sends them out looking for other options for milk. Soy milk, goats milk, almond milk, and rice milk are just a few of the choices available in stores. By making your own rice milk you can save a-lot of money!
